Hydrogen production from natural gas under adiabatic conditions
This natural gas hydrogen production method is more suitable for small-scale hydrogen production. Hydrogen production from adiabatic conversion of natural gas uses air as the source of oxygen.       Hydrogen production by partial oxidation of natural gas
The reactor for partial oxidation of natural gas to produce hydrogen uses a high-temperature inorganic ceramic oxygen-permeable membrane. Compared with the traditional steam reforming method, the partial oxidation of natural gas to produce hydrogen consumes less energy because it uses a reactor composed of some inexpensive refractory materials. Compared with the general production process, the cost of equipment investment in this natural gas hydrogen production process is reduced by about 25 %, and the cost of production is reduced by about 40 %, which can reduce the investment cost to a certain extent.
     Hydrogen production by high temperature cracking of natural gas
Pyrolysis of natural gas at high temperature to produce hydrogen is mainly under high temperature conditions, natural gas catalytic decomposition into carbon and hydrogen, but in this process does not produce any carbon dioxide, so it is generally considered to be a transition process from fossil fuel use to renewable energy utilization. Hydrogen production by autothermal reforming of natural gas
The principle of hydrogen production by autothermal reforming of natural gas is the coupling of exothermic natural gas combustion reaction and strong endothermic natural gas steam reforming reaction in the reactor. In this way, the reactor itself can achieve heating without external heating, which reduces the process cost to a certain extent. Compared with the external heating of the traditional reforming process, it becomes self-heating and realizes the scientific utilization of reaction heat.
