CIHC 2026 China Hydrogen Expo Opens in Beijing - "Hydrogen" Power Soars, Revitalizing Industries

From March 25th to 27th, the 2026 China International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Industry Exhibition and International Hydrogen Energy Conference (CIHC 2026) was grandly launched at the National Convention Center in Beijing. As the highly anticipated annual international event in the field of hydrogen energy, this exhibition, with the theme of "Towards New and Green, Creating Win-Win", attracted more than 600 enterprises from over 20 countries and regions worldwide to actively participate. It showcased over 1,000 new technologies, new products and innovative application scenarios, covering the entire hydrogen energy ecosystem supply chain including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, distribution, refueling and usage. Suzhou Jiarui Gas System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Suzhou Jiarui") presented its core products such as the intelligent system for natural gas blending with hydrogen combustion, PEM electrolysis water hydrogen production technology, and pressure swing adsorption hydrogen extraction device with great impact at booth E3021-1. With mature technical solutions and an open and cooperative attitude, it showcased the strong capabilities and vigorous development vitality of China's hydrogen energy industry to the world.
The "14-15" plan has designated hydrogen energy as the core engine of the dual-carbon strategy and the representative of new quality productive forces. This exhibition takes this as an opportunity to cover the entire hydrogen energy industry chain ecosystem and gather the world's top technologies and resources. Suzhou Jiarui participated in the exhibition, aiming to leverage the exhibition platform to connect global resources, promote technological collaboration, project implementation and open win-win cooperation, and jointly seize the golden opportunity for the large-scale development of hydrogen energy during the "14-15" period, helping the industry reduce costs, increase efficiency and achieve high-quality development.
Suzhou Jiarui has been deeply engaged in the field of hydrogen production through chemical synthesis. The distributed methanol-based hydrogen production equipment it produces is a landmark achievement. Compared with traditional methanol-based hydrogen production equipment, its value is less than 20% of that of traditional hydrogen production equipment. It is widely used in boiler, kiln, and other thermal energy and kinetic energy conversion processes in industries such as food, building materials, smelting, and chemical engineering. It requires less investment and has broad application scenarios for distributed methanol-based hydrogen production equipment. The technology involves blending 20% hydrogen mixture into the original natural gas used, aiming to achieve efficiency improvement, energy conservation, and emission reduction.
Based on solar energy and other renewable resources, the hydrogen production system of Suzhou Jiarui is centered on advanced electrolysis water technology and achieves intelligent control, green zero-carbon, and safe and reliable high-purity high-pressure hydrogen equipment. After being processed by professional pressurization equipment, the hydrogen power can reach 35 megapascals, and both purity and pressure meet the standards. It can perfectly adapt to the efficient operation of fuel cells, meet the strict requirements of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage, and provide stable power support for downstream high-precision equipment such as hydrogen-powered drones.
Pressure swing adsorption hydrogen extraction utilizes the principle that the adsorbent selectively adsorbs non-hydrogen impurities in the hydrogen-rich mixed gas during pressurization and desorbs the impurities during depressurization for regeneration. This equipment is used for hydrogen separation and purification of various hydrogen-containing sources such as coke oven gas, vent gas, and polysilicon tail gas. The pressure swing adsorption hydrogen extraction device produced by Suzhou Jiarui has been successfully shipped to Oman. The gas processing capacity can reach 2500 Nm3/h. It is a dedicated tail gas purification equipment tailored for the cold hydrogenation production of high-purity silicon-based scenarios and meets the core process requirements of polysilicon production. After commissioning, the annual production capacity will reach 100,000 tons, which can meet the silicon material demand for 40GW photovoltaic modules.
