Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production device


A new type of pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production device adopts a new gas distribution technology to optimize the adsorption efficiency.


  Nitrogen is an inert protective gas, which is widely used in petroleum, chemical and other industries, grain preservation, fruit preservation and metallurgy. The pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production equipment uses the difference in the diffusion rate of oxygen and nitrogen in the air in the carbon molecular sieve pores to separate the oxygen and nitrogen in the air. The diffusion rate of oxygen molecules is faster than that of nitrogen molecules. Oxygen molecules diffuse into the pores of carbon molecular adsorbents before nitrogen molecules, and nitrogen molecules that fail to diffuse into the pores of carbon molecular adsorbents are output as product gas.


Process principle
 
The compressed and purified air flows through the adsorption tower filled with carbon molecular sieves. The compressed air flows through the adsorption tower from bottom to top, during which the oxygen molecules are adsorbed by carbon molecular sieves. The unadsorbed nitrogen flows out from the upper end of the adsorption tower and enters a buffer tank. After a period of time, the carbon molecules in the adsorption tower are saturated by the adsorbed oxygen and need to be regenerated. Regeneration is achieved by methods such as depressurization or vacuuming. Two adsorption towers are used to adsorb and regenerate alternately to ensure continuous nitrogen output.


Technical characteristics of pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production equipment
 
Through special loading techniques, the service life of carbon molecular sieves can reach more than 10 years.
 
The pressure boosting and depressurization process is realized by a new gas distributor and a special control valve, with a service life of up to 2 million times. After the gas distribution technology is adopted, the pressure swing adsorption efficiency and piping process are greatly optimized.
 
The nitrogen flow rate is indicated by the flow meter, and the purity is continuously monitored by the oxygen analyzer. When the purity does not meet customer requirements, it will be automatically vented to prevent unqualified gas from entering the customer 's production line.

Nitrogen purification system
 
After mixing the raw material nitrogen produced by PSA pressure swing adsorption system with a small amount of hydrogen, the residual oxygen in the crude nitrogen in the reactor reacts with hydrogen to produce water vapor with the help of a special catalyst. The chemical reaction formula is as follows : 2H2 + O2-2H2 + reaction heat
 
 
Process principle
 
The nitrogen purification system can automatically adjust the amount of gas entering the feed gas according to the actual oxygen content continuously measured by the oxygen analyzer. In order to minimize the excess hydrogen and improve the purity of nitrogen, the system is equipped with a high-precision, high-performance hydrogen control module. The mixed gas enters a catalytic reactor, and the hydrogen and oxygen in the reactor undergo an exothermic reaction, which is converted into water vapor. After condensation, the water is removed. Nitrogen is dried by adsorption dryer, and finally a clean and dry nitrogen product is obtained.
 
Technical characteristics of nitrogen purification system
 
The purity of the product gas is continuously monitored by an oxygen analyzer. When the purity of the product gas is lower than the customer 's requirements. The high purity nitrogen leaving the reactor is first cooled by a cooler to remove the cooling water.

The control system can automatically adjust the hydrogen flow rate and ensure that the hydrogen content in the product nitrogen is the least.
