Hydrogen Production Technology by Water Electrolysis

When direct current is applied to some aqueous electrolyte solutions, the decomposed substances have no relation to the original electrolytes. It is the water (as solvent) that is decomposed, while the original electrolytes remain in the water. Electrolytes such as sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide fall into this category. In water electrolysis, pure water is a typical weak electrolyte with low ionization degree and poor electrical conductivity. Therefore, the above-mentioned electrolytes need to be added to improve the conductivity of the solution, enabling water to be smoothly electrolyzed into hydrogen and oxygen.


■ Technical Features & Reaction Principle

·  Ultra-pure hydrogen: The equipment produces hydrogen with purity up to 99.999% and dew point as low as -65°C. It features strong load adaptability, and the operating pressure and output can be continuously adjusted below rated values. The system conducts real-time online monitoring of hydrogen purity, which greatly extends equipment service life and reduces maintenance and replacement costs.
·  Proven reliability: The electrolyzer adopts a bipolar filter-press plate-and-frame structure with special sealing structure and materials, ensuring no leakage during long-term operation.
·  Gas production on demand: Maximum hydrogen output varies by model, and larger capacity can be customized.
·  Easy installation: Each hydrogen production system is fully assembled before delivery, adopting an integrated frame structure for convenient transportation and simple on-site installation.
·  Strict process control: The design, material selection and processing of each set of equipment are under strict control.
